Amy is a registered nurse with decades of frontline experience. A graduate of Montana State University’s College of Nursing, she has served at Kalispell Regional Medical Center Health Center Northwest, and Glacier Surgical since 2003.
Born and raised in Kalispell, Amy still calls the Flathead home. She enjoys spending her free time in the Montana wilderness, from hiking to Hole in the Wall in Glacier to backpacking to Wanless Lake in the Cabinets. Public service runs in her family. She’s proud to carry that forward, both as a nurse and a state legislator.
Known for her strong conservative leadership in the Montana Legislature, Amy championed traditional values such as parental rights, conscience protections, and meaningful tax relief. Her approach emphasized limited government, local control, and protecting Montanans from burdensome mandates and tax shifts disguised as reform.
Amy has served three terms representing northwest Kalispell. During her time in office, she held leadership roles including Majority Whip and Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, earning a reputation for steady, conservative leadership.
